We moved into a future-ready learning environment in Müngersdorf — a campus designed around student wellbeing, modern learning, and community values.

Purpose & Vision

At CIS, our campus feels alive – the kind of place where you can hear ideas bouncing between classrooms and see friendships forming under the trees. This isn’t just architecture; it’s where education takes shape in sunlight-filled studios, cozy reading nooks that invite you to stay awhile, and open spaces that seem to say “gather here.” We built this place thinking about how learning really happens – through chance encounters, messy experiments, and those moments when a lesson suddenly clicks. The science labs smell like possibility, the courtyard echoes with lunchtime laughter, and every wall seems to whisper “what if?” This is where students don’t just prepare for the future, but start living it today, surrounded by teachers who know their names and spaces that fit them just right.

Enviromentally Friendly Campus

With its Sustainable and Energy-Efficient Design, the campus incorporates eco-friendly technologies, including a photovoltaic system that covers 80% of the school’s energy needs, reducing CO₂ emissions by 30 tons annually.

On-Campus Boarding House

Students live on campus in a comfortable, well-supported environment. The Boarding House accommodates up to 20 international students (aged 15+) with shared rooms, common areas, and dedicated staff supporting daily routines. What makes this offering truly exceptional: CIS is the only school in Cologne that provides on‑campus boarding, creating a close-knit international community right here in the city.
